way too long of A walk to room 446
We love the large pool and the comfort of the rooms.
We have stayed in the golf course view rooms which are much nicer than the parking lot view rooms.
Room was clean and updated furnishings. bed very comfortable
All the stairs
The front desk staff and their friendly and caring attitude. Also, their helpfulness with directions, where to eat etc.
was able to book for one night had a sliding window to balcony - nice.
Pool, location and easy to commute to anything.
The hallways of the hotel smelled very musty. Not a good smell . It really turned me off when I first entered. Also there should be more vending machines.Bar area and breakfast area should be open longer.
Resort was very large and busy with many people there, but you could still find privacy at the pool during the day. resort is across the street to the Melody tent as we took in a show, but also close enough to walk to main street for shopping ort take car to nearby towns for venturing out.
It was totally adequate. Nice enough room but not really worth $200. I would recommend it if you want or need something fairly sterile on the cape and nothing else is available. It's totally fine just not anything close to a resort.
Our waiter from the restaurant & bar, Dennis, always offered superb service and it was a true joy to have met him. The bar and restaurant food was of impressive quality. Pools were clean and relaxing.
The rugs in the hallways and rooms were old and musky and gives a bad first impression after leaving the reception area - unlike the exterior of the hotel or what was seen online. Our room door often opened after being closed. The door was old and its mechanism or car key needs attention. Front desk management staff were not particularly welcoming and did not follow through on requests. They seemed to be ill trained regarding computer reservation and billing systems.
The front of desk tried very hard to please.
Very poor, low investment, refurbishment shows. A/c units noisy and old fashioned. Very conference focused. Mosquito's outside and biting bugs inside. This place was a Sheraton but you'd never know that now. 2 star at best. A long walk to town. Spend your money elsewhere (Harbour Hotel is similar price and 10 x the quality). In summary: Overpriced and hugely over-rated.
I did not have a good experience there website needs a complete update, offers ammenities that are not available, the hotel is run down not worth the money at all.
Location might be the only plus
Well priced basic clean hotel with good pool
Very strict on children in pool area ruined there fun my children good swimmers and despite life gaurd on duty insisted on an adult being present
We visit the cape 4-6 times per year to see our son who attends school there. We have stayed at many hotels but this is by far one of the lower end places on the cape. The only good thing about this "resort" is the gym. The rest of the resort is outdated and unclean. The military was there when we were and they locked all the outside access doors without telling the civilian guests. This was a real inconvenience as out room was about 1/4 of a mile (no kidding!) from the main entrance. The spa was nice and affordable, but there was a musty smell and all the sounds from outside really interfered with the treatments, although the spa staff were really great. Bottom line: I'll go back to the gym but won't stay there again.
We are Bruin's fans and were disappointed that Nesn wasn't offered on the TV programing. For that matter we felt the program offerings were pretty weak.
On my first night, August 1, 2012, I asked to move to another room because of the loud noise coming from the Cape Cod Melody Tent. The front desk was very helpful, and I was in a new room within fifteen minutes. A hotel associate came to the original room and carried my luggage! Very happy with that. Room service was excellent. I must maintain a gluten-free diet, and the staff accommodated my requests. Service was expedient, as well. Staff is top notch at the conference center.
Briefly, this facility needed a "make-over" long ago. The carpets are stained, the grouting in the bathroom was atrocious, and the hallways were not air-conditioned, at least from room 200 to room 250. When I book a facility, the environment is not as important as service; however, this hotel has not been maintained well enough for me to book again. I expected more for the price.
